TESTING SERVICES

Whatcom Pathology Laboratory Sterilizer Monitoring Services is a department of Avocet Environmental Testing, Inc. a laboratory that has served physicians, dental offices and the community for 20 years.  We are committed to providing the best service available at reasonable prices.  Our knowledgeable and friendly support staff will insure that your needs are met quickly and courteously.

Our Nationwide Service Includes:

Kits of Spore Sterilization Test Strips- These can be purchased as needed, no subscription is required.  We offer the one-strip and two-strip methods, both of which include a control strip. Return envelopes are also included for each test.

In-House Analysis-Our testing is done by certified laboratory technicians utilizing state-of–the-art testing equipment.  We use a full 7 day incubation period, and potential positives are put through a conformation step before results are reported.

Reports-We generate a written report of each test’s results, which are mailed on the last day of the test incubation period.

Immediate Notification-Your office is notified immediately of confirmed positives.
Consultation with our resident, board-certified pathologist is available at no extra charge.

Certificate of Participation-Personalized certificate verifying the testing of your sterilization equipment as recommended by your state and the Center for Disease Control is provided.
