For most drinking water analysis, one full liter container is sufficient, two liters for complete inorganics. In some cases such as nitrate, chloride, pH or single metal analysis, 250 mL is sufficient. Please contact us if you have any questions on specific sample volume requirements.

For bacteria, sterile sample bottles need to be a little above 100 ml mark, not below or overflowing.
